About Steve

Steve Vanderploeg grew up in Morrison, Colorado where enough people told him that he should do comedy, that he eventually believed them. He gained notoriety in the Denver Comedy Scene for his intelligent heavyweight punchlines combined with his off-dry antics.

Steve is a regular performer at the World Famous Comedy Works in Denver, which he is proud to call his home club. He can be seen often regularly touring across the country and has performed on over thirty festivals in his career, including the High Plains comedy festival, Limestone comedy festival, 10,000 Laughs comedy festival, SF Sketchfest and Treefort music festival. Steve has been heard as Comedian of the Week on Comedy 103.1 FM in Denver and has been featured multiple times on the Grawlix Saves the World Podcast. 

   Steve is also known for creating Rotating Tap Comedy - An award-winning beer themed comedy series that produces live shows at multiple breweries as well as a podcast ranked in the top 200 comedy interview podcasts.
