About Steve
Steve Vanderploeg grew up in Morrison, Colorado where enough people told him that he should do comedy, that he eventually believed them. He gained notoriety in the Denver Comedy Scene for his intelligent heavyweight punchlines combined with his off-dry antics.
Steve is a regular performer and headliner at the World Famous Comedy Works in Denver, which he is proud to call his home club. He can be seen often regularly touring across the country and has performed on over thirty festivals in his career, including the High Plains comedy festival, Limestone comedy festival, 10,000 Laughs comedy festival and SF Sketchfest. He has also been featuring on Treefort Music Festival and the Korn Ferry tour. Steve was also featured as Comedian of the Week on Comedy 103.1 FM in Denver in 2019.
Steve is also known for creating Rotating Tap Comedy - An award-winning beer themed comedy series that produces live shows at multiple breweries across the United States.
